Welcome to the Integrated Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program at the University of South Carolina

The University of South Carolina has established a new interdisciplinary Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program. More than 80 faculty in all areas of biomedicine have combined to form this program

We offer PhD and MS degrees and competitive stipends with tuition reduction to our doctoral students

New Certificate of Graduate Study in Biomedical Sciences
Starting in the fall semester of 2009, the School of Medicine will  offer a Certificate in Graduate Study in Biomedical Sciences. This program is designed to enable pre-medical students to take graduate level course to establish credentials for entry into medical school. For more information, go here

Sorensen Fellowships
In addition to our competitive stipends, selected students who intend to work in the field of cancer research will be awarded an additional $5000 per year. Two awards will be made for admission in fall 2010. These awards are open to all nationalities

Graduate Fellowships
American students of special merit will be nominated for stipend supplements of up to $5000 awarded by the Graduate School
